Hotel Porta Fira
Culture, leisure and sports
2010 / Hospitalet de Llobregat, Barcelona
This skyscraper stands out in Hospitalet de Llobregat with its 110 m height and avant-garde design, simulating a lotus flower, and won the Emporis Award for Best Skyscraper in 2010. It is the work of Toyo Ito, the renowned Japanese architect who won the 2013 Pritzker Architecture Award for combining conceptual innovation with superbly executed buildings, as well as for the spiritual and poetic dimension that transcends all his works, inspired by the principles of nature.
This tower, which includes a hotel of maximum comfort, a restaurant with Mediterranean and creative cuisine and rooms with all the essentials for high-level meetings and celebrations, is a clear example of the place of Luznor's products in prestigious architecture.
